Festival of Colors

So on Saturday we were invited by some friends to join them at the Festival of Colors.  

I had no idea what it was so I went to the trusty Wikipedia to find out about this Festival.  

As it turns out it is a Hindu religious holiday to celebrate the beginning of spring.  It is celebrated by people throwing scented powder and perfume at each other.  So of course we had to go and experience it!  We finally made it through traffic, thanks to Andrews wonderful driving, and then to the Krishna Temple grounds where we would get our own scented powder.  As we were walking to the Temple we were being "blessed" with different colors of spring from those people leaving.  After about two hours we were completely covered with the colors of spring!
